So, I actually decided to try and start the design of a forerunner-esque texture...



Was trying to wait for Dano to get online, but I have to go and I'd like crit from everyone else. Also, it's a bit cluttered. =p

These screenies Suck, but it shows what was possiable with 45 minutes of messing around with unreal 3 editor. AND NO, i have never touched any of the unreal editors befor. Its just that simple.

unreal 3 editor = leetsause. just exported mesh as .ASE and imported into unreal. no need to follow seal world rules as you can asign per-poly collison to mesh :0. and you can drop into your map and play on the fly without compiling. lol took only 45 minutes to play around with it to fall in love. talk about a artist dream come true.

those of you looking to use next-gen engine for design, get GoW or unreal 3.

yeah, crap, i'm gonna have to add ut3 to the ever growing list of games I need to buy... but after I finish with bce.

but it's weird to see what's-his-name in what's clearly a Halo themed map, lol. I wish it could always be like this- GoW and Halo happily living together, but instead we've got rabid fanbois at each others' throats. sigh...

There are Half Life v Halo fights (:<), but no Halo v UT3 or GOW fights. We all know how dumb that argument would be.
