My latest attempt at the AT-AT, I think I did better this time.
The exterior detail work will be separate planes that will be attached to the AT-AT at the end, so the exterior is largely undetailed, and it would be a pain in the ass to delete the planes in the front and back and then add in tiny details.

Any advice?

I'm using that pic as a reference, actually.

And yes, I need to make a light source and use the rendering tutorial, I haven't sexified the renders yet. I'll do it in my next batch.

it's a mostly fail. but not as hard fail as you are.

the loads of errors just scream "i moved verts and inset/bevel'd/extruded, but i don't really know what the hell im doing"
