The plates on the joints of the hand cant be made with bump maps because its pushed up to far, also they wouldnt have that kind of detail with a bump map except some of teh scratches. If i made the scratches to deep then it would look weird.

its a hand its self that robots use. Its supposed to be bioflexable. The bumps are just for detail.

foam cutout + zbrush ≠ good model.
ofcourse not ross, because that requires minimal knowledge to do!
hence it cannot be done.
