Meh, I can't perspective ok, and I know it's pretty sketchy, shit.

I'll get better though. First painting in photoshop to use nothing but the brush tool, (cept the sand texture I made earlier) so I'm kinda proud.

    That's an interesting outfit >__>

I like the effect you've got on the metals (and the radiance from the glowing bits)

the tuning pegs look too thick. the actual cylinders that the string goes on (forgot the name...) needs the hole that the string loops through. The neck doesnt look like its got a nice rounded curve to it on the bottom, plump it out by the edges a bit. the nut looks a little too thin. Also, watch out on how you model your frets, they're a little more flat than that, and they extend to the far edges of the width of the neck. Looks nice so far, lets see how you handly the body.

The hip region and the armour there looks like it could use some work, unless you're trying to copy the guy in your avatar (assuming that you didn't make the guy in your avatar). If you did, then the helmet also looks kind of odd, as if it were meant for a lizard-man or something. Yet again, I don't know enough about what you're making to give more the best crit.

agreedHoly shit, I was typing and you guys double posted on my slow ass

Oh, and Dano, it still seems that the character is 2D. Im sure once you model it that it will come out nicely because it is all up in your noodle, but until then the illusion of depth is hardly achieved.
