I think it was mostly hydrolics, a thruster or 2 and all the props had their physical properties set to not be affected by gravity.

The next person to compare forge to Gmod is getting a swift kick to the balls.
Forge is bungie's pore excuse for a map editor, Gmod is a sandbox game.

At any rate, that vid was pretty "meh" till they got to the dragon and mechs.

Forge and Gmod are very similar. The only differences are in scripting and the ease of adding new content, but that's just because of the platforms. (psst. All those nifty little tools you get that bind objects together and make them do nifty things are scripts)

I still dont get why people are all hissy about Forge aside from the "I never understood/knew Bungie's terminology and because of that it's not doing what I expected." tendencies internetfolk tend to have. It is a map editor. Bitching, whining, and moaning wont change the definition of map to bsp nor bring the ability in the future. It'd be quite painful to build a bsp with the console alone and running lightmaps would be an utter bitch if reasonable to do so at all.

I'm not impressed by anything in the video.

Yeah, you don't even have to build crazy shit like that to have fun. I have fun just building towers out of crates and knocking them down, and spawning hordes of zombies to mow down with awesome custom weapons like the vulcan cannon
