or do I have to have 2 gold accounts to play LAN custom maps of Halo 2 Vista?

Today I got friend over and since my extra ps2 controller failed, I though I can do some LAN Halo 2, well I use my sliver account and select custom maps ok it went with me BUT for my guy he needs a GOD Account to play custom maps but a fucking Local Area Connection? WTF We not even going Live we going LOCAL.

I don't think you even have to be signed in to play on your LAN. Just skip past the Live login box, click network, and create/join a game.

Sorry but last night I just did not read the text correctly.


You just have to sign another computer to live (not gold) and you and your friend can play custom maps.

I got confused and thought that I had to join gold. I just had the other computer sign in to non-live account and it wont let you in.
