Can't believe Modacity people are so behind with H3 modding...
To sum it quickly all up...I don't own H3 nor do I a 360 but many files are stored inside a container file. So the file are inside a file. What's the advantage? When the game reads those container files to extract the actual data they can check the container hash which shows the game if the file inside the container file has been tampered with.
Now people can resign container files which means re-calculate the hash to their own forge variant (the crap you see above in those pictures) / player profile (unlock achievements) and store it back into a container file.
MAP files can't yet be modified since they are encrypted and can't be decrypted unless you have a special key which only Bungie has and you can't brute force it because it would take you years. Only way to bypass this would be by running special code inside the 360 but it's not possible to date since the 360 (doesn't matter which version, even DEV) doesn't allow you to run unsigned code.
God, worst explination ever.
