Controller issue

Hey, sometimes when i play H2V with my Xbox 360 wired controller (vista), the game recognizes my controller but i do not have the built in aimbot feature you get when u use it. All the controls work perfectly but (for example) when i pass over a weapon to dual-weild it says "press Q to dual wield this..." not the "press Y" it gives me usually. This problem happens like 50% of the time I play and the only way I can fix it is by restarting (or logging out and back in) of my computer, exiting the game and re-pluging in the controller do not seem to work. This has started pretty recently as well, it uses to be fine for a while
I was just wondering if any body else has this problem and what you suggest as a fix. I know i can deal with it but its kinda getting annoying now.

shhhhhhhh did you make a spelling mistake or is there something i don't get here.

what i meant was i can use the controller but the aimbot is absent so its like impossible to snipe with it.

I'm pretty sure armoman92 means the aim assist. Is it not in the settings on H2v?

Look in the settings. Also the reason it says "q" instead of y is because that is the letter on the keyboard to dual wield. It is a PC port after all... It just allows you to use a usb controller.

what im looking for is like someway to reinstall the 360 controllers driver or something.
