You have your opinion, I have mine, but I still get so much more out of other sites that are much more professional and actaully act like normal humans with social standards and criticism politely, they don't "sugar coat" they tell you what is wrong, but encourage you to move forward.
I don't even know why I am saying this, you all have had your views of criticism like the way done here as the correct way for so long, that you believe it is the proper way and you're helping people, but you're not, and don't pull the real world bullshit. You never answered my question frain, answer it over pm, why do you model then, if not for fun? I rarely post my work on here anymore, because when I did the whole thought process in my painting was to create something that looks good so I wouldn't be yelled at. That changes it from a passion to a mindless habit as a gambit to be accepted. But then again, this is just my opinion and I could be delusioned that mine is the right way when yours is actaully correct, too bad we'll never know. But frain, if you're so insulted over my opinion that you remove me and try to "denounce" me, it's obvious you need to understand tolerance for other people, another reason why I think modacity is going backwards, not forwards.

"The Studio" has the best drama.

I honestly didn't want this to be a drama fest, but frain apparently likes to be a total tool and post a chat log argument in a topic for an idea to help the community. I got it though, I won't post anymore ideas to help to try help out, I learned my lesson, I pity you frain, go watch some porn if you want entertainment.

That about covers it. I'm not even going to argue with you because the above quote makes it unnecessary. Don't like us?

It was a good hearted idea, just doesn't fit well in this environment of e-niggers. Advice in little snipets is no problem, but having a hump on your back gets old.

Frain, I know you think my opinion is hilarious but you still after three times are avoiding my question. You're telling me when they told you your models were shit, that you improved because of it, yet when i asked you how much you enjoyed doing it, you said it didn't matter, then why the fuck did you improve, why do you model now?

    Jesus christ this thread.

but seriously listen to the boys in green on this one.
they know what they're talking about.

alot of it is self initiative probably 95% of it is, but the rest comes from people helping you solve problems when your stuck.
    thats where aim comes in.

Look at dano for example, he learnt just about everything he ever did as a texturer, modeler and musician through self teaching.
being spoon fed is one of the worst things you can do for a creative mind or field.
