Photoshop will do stitching, but mine seems to be glitched and hasn't worked since the first time I used it (even with the same source images).

autostitch was a free stitching program before they made it into shareware. You should be able to find an old build somewhere on the internet~

I liked the way it came out though, the one guy staring at the longsword thinking "...ohdamn..." and the other guy looking at him thinking "...shouldn't we move?"

I guess so. I thought it was more funny as more of an "uh-oh" moment where they look at each other. I guess its just matter of opinion though.
