Portal 2?
Yeah, but the thing about the Half-Life series is that the player has never lost continuity with a conscious Gordon Freeman. So, we'd have to sit through a 3000 mile chopper ride from eastern Europe to the Arctic circle. Longer if they have to stop for gas.
Maybe Gordon takes a nap during the trip, but they can't just start the game with Gordon waking up from a nap. They have to pick up exactly where they left off and have the player maneuver him to his nap. Shouldn't be hard. The guy hasn't slept since HL2 started.
Hey, it was Valve's decision to make everything contiguous. I don't think it really makes the game better, but it's their thing. They can't abandon it now.
All I know is that Gordon has a steel bladder. And I'm starting to suspect that he's anorexic. Eat something, fella!

I played L4D1 and imo it just sucked.. however I'm not a fan of zombie games really, but all it seemed was run + shoot lots of zombies out of the blue that are the same everytime.. sometimes i'd get stuck in a corner surrounded by hundreds of fucking zombies and it really just didn't seem like fun at all. I played l4d2, just to find it's the same exact thing. They never really seemed to have gameplay imo, or at least not like any of the other Valve games.
I'll probably get flamed for saying it, but its exactly what I've always thought of the game.
I really want to play a Portal 2 or HL2:Ep3. Both would be so awesome. And don't they both tie into each some how? I remeber reading somewhere about the cargo ship that was talked about in ep2 had the portal tech on it, but idk. Guess I'll have to wait and see, I should probably replay the series as well becuase its extremely fun.
Story is great, gameplay is horrid. Always been the same ever since HL1. If they could at least just make walking more then a slight screen wiggle, it might add more effect to it seeing as in every Source game you glide along the floor at pretty high speeds without moving your gun too much.
the thing with the big claws? crouch walk so it doesnt hear you, and throw a grenade to divert its attention elsewhere if its in your way. the only reason i knew what to do was because that one guy is like "shh it hears you"
game is hard as hell. i love it
E: l4d does attract a pretty big crowd though. its probably because of the whole zombie thing. i know these 3 girls who dont play any other games but l4d. and i only mention that theyre girls because it stresses the point that the game attracts a wide audience. i personally dont like it, but apparently a lot of people do.
