using a pencil and a tablet are 2 TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS.

i'm like chains too, i can pretty decently with a pencil and paper but when it comes to digital drawing im horrible. theres something about it that's just not like traditional pencil and paper and it becomes difficult.

nice stuff chains, looks great. definitely better then any of your digital art. you really need to get a decent scanner and start scanning your stuff.

You can very easily stimulate pressure and it's 'opacity' and you get a nice feel of the pencil and how it interacts with the medium. I also prefer pencil and paper, it's much easier to make something look nice because you can be messy and the outcome will look great.

The thing here is that Chains works best in pencil. A quick google search turns up a nice looking pencil brush. See if you can work with that like you do on paper. Also, depending on the type of tablet you have, you can buy felt nibs for wacom pens, which give you better control.

Nice. I'll give this a try with my tablet later as well.
