probably not. If we do then I will copy-paste the entire current map we have into the newly generated map. Sounds like a bitch but I'll do it if I have to.

If you're just going to copy-paste everything you've got, there's no point as you'll still need to travel to the new area to get biomes either way

Biomes is just areas that have different blocks? Like a sandy area, blocky mountainous area.

more or less yes, biomes will be different "climates" ex. a desert biome will have all sand with cacti with no real water (possible oasises?)

snowy biomes will include obviously snow and any water close to it will be frozen

so on and so forth

Played the classic version last night. Joined a random server and was fucking around. Dug into the ground and fell into a massive chamber. Ran around lost for 15 minutes and I saw a guy out in the fog. He stopped moving, so I used the opportunity to build a big box around him. turns out it was Freelancer (low what are the chances). We spent the next few hours building a massive tower. I went back to the server today to check. As I was making some changes some dude came and fucked up the giant gold dome I made.

God, I spent ten minutes trying to get out of a cavern I'd been working in. Be sure to organize yourself down there. From now on I'm putting up signs and routes so I know where I am.
