whiney post of the day
I seriously cannot stand Metro in both the alpha and beta forms. I just hate everything about the map, and it really makes me dislike the game thus far. I wasn't able to test Caspian Border, so I won't even bother playing the beta anymore.
I'm sure the game is all good and great when you're playing the bigger bf2/bc1-eqsue conquest maps, but I am not going to pretend to enjoy playing this meat grinder.

Nothing amazing in the video really. I'm pretty pissed about how they seem to think using a browser as a main menu is a good idea. My internet is only on between 6AM and midnight (long story), so if I want to play single-player late at night I won't be able to. Lame.
E: Fuck I never remember how to use Youtube tags.

Aka, 2 more buys for MW3. (They aren't exactly idiots either or "missing out," they are just being logical: BF3 is giving a terrible first-impression)
ODX, you should play it before listening to what other people say. I don't even see how someone can say the beta is terrible apart of the odd some glitches. But again, its a BETA......

Despite the beta's many bugs, it's been fun as fuck and I will hands down buy it. It's more of a combat/squad simulator. It focuses on intense team work. It's not an arcade style "get as many kills as you can and not hurt your KDR" shooter. I feel like the people who are most disappointed are those who assumed it was going to be more like call of duty where you just run around on your own ignoring the rest of your team (generalization, but most people I've talked to this was their complaint). The biggest issue so far has been EA's servers...cause ya know...EA sucks >.>
And people also don't seem to understand that this is a BETA. Not a demo, a beta. The beta milestone in ANY production cycle is almost never bug free. And the point is for testing and feedback, not to give the players a bugless 2 weeks of free play -_-
Got in three games on Metro. Hard as fuck to find any players and it's even harder to tell whether they're friendly or not. I absolutely despise the browser based menu system. I don't care if it's social. Not caring much about how easy it is to die. My first game, I spent more time respawning than actually playing. My second game I kept dying to grenades no matter where I was. Last game, enemies were attacking from infront and behind my spawn so I quit. I know it's beta, but gameplay doesn't change that much moving to gold. I'm losing interest in BF3.
So I was going 19-2 and I get kicked out of the server??? WTF!!!
I hope they work more on the graphics stability. I keep getting random flashes of green and red on my screen plus performance is noticeably poorer on the Russian's spawn side despite both the American's and Russian's are outside. Also, the vsync setting seems to be broken. Even with it on, I get obnoxious vertical tearing.
Other than that, the gameplay is fun as hell for me. It's been relatively easy getting kills, though not so much support points due to the limited loadouts.
All of which are legitimate reasons to not like a game. It's not for everybody, I don't understand why people get all pissy when they hear someone doesn't want to play it -_- I just don't like people who are ill-informed and refuse to recognize it >_<. Personally I'm excited for the release
