Ah, I was wondering why your macro shots were looking a bit soft. You can always get a reverse mount on the cheap and stick your 18-55 on backwards and still get pretty good sharpness. There's a video tutorial somewhere for converting an 18-55 stock lens to a reverse mounted macro with AF too.

Heh: This will permanently disfigure your lens, so make sure you have a spare or as long as you're absolutely SURE you will never use that type again (better to use spare)

I'm definitely going to do this.
BTW there is a easier simpler solution, but the ones I've seen does not have autofocus. Maybe there is an adapter with AF and it allows you to set aperture but I dunno.
Actually, you probably don't need to glue it, but you can take an old UV filter (or whatever filter) and glue that on to make it screwable. but then again your you removed the AF driver, doesn't need to be removable =D
