That makes me happy. So long as they're not restricted to the DLC maps, always hated when DLC had content only other DLC users could mess with.

It's great to see that they are allowing ppl without B2K to unlock the Karkand weapons. This is essentially free DLC to the people who have the standard edition of the game.

I would rather see the weapons only unlockable for people who buy the DLC. However if people who don't have it happen to pick the kit up from someone who's got it unlocked then they can use it.

Like the Veteran guns. Especially since there isn't a Veteran weapon for BF3, only the Gun Club M1911 which anyone can get.

It's Freelancer. What's there to be disappointed in? I got B2K for free. It doesn't feel right that Standard Edition owners would have to pay for weapons too, even if they don't own the maps. Whatever, it's not like they don't have to work to unlock them. I'm sure a good portion of the player base will just skip them entirely.
