Hiding isn't the issue. Trying not to get cut down when the main fight comes to you (or when you spawn in said fight) is.
does anybody else have this all-encompassing fear of getting knifed? i do. it usually only happens once or twice per session for me, and its always because some douche's latency allowed him to knife through bullets or not die from my knife. to avoid this, i normally pay very careful attention to my surroundings and listen for foot steps. i clear every corner of every house i go in.
today, it happened. i was just minding my own business, shooting a lot of people with the m249, reviving thousands of other people, and knifing everybody like rambo. i broke into a house, and began clearing as i always do, saw a sniper kit, and thought "oh boy imma throw a motion mine". i pick it up, throw the mine, and switch back to my kit. i continue looking around for people, then take a look outside. suddenly, i see something out of the corner of my eye, and hear somebody yell "DIE" as i turn to face a wookie in the process of stabbing me. too bewildered to even be enraged at the fact that my motion mine didnt pick this ninja-mofo up, i put the LW pack on, and set out on a quest for revenge. after almost 20 minutes of running around knifing and defibbing people, i realize that i havent seen this guy at all. havent been killed by him, havent shot him, havent seen him in the kill feed, nothing.
Fucker left the server right after he knifed me. with my honor stripped away, i had no choice but to leave the battlefield empty handed. you may have won this round, but i will have my revenge you ninja son of a bitch.
E: hey exam, just looked in my list, and you have one of my tags. its a bronze. that must be from that modacity game night last summer.

L96 and M40A5 are basically the same gun.
So I've heard. The L96 is definitely fun to use, seeing as how it as almost no bullet drop. o.0
Also the USAS-12 is the most broken gun I have ever seen.
Your eyes deceive you. The M98 has the least amount of bullet drop. L96 and M40 are about the same, but both have a good bit more bullet drop than the M98.Originally Posted by TeeKup

I have never been so irritated to the point of actually throwing a controller, but it happened the other night on Grand Bazaar. Half the enemy team was using it it and they all had frag rounds.
I doubt I'll ever touch the M98. I tend to shy away from it when I see it on the ground. Didn't like the Barret in BC2 either.
