...yeah, jokes about "Valve time" and related bug the crap out of me. :x

Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to the release of this very, very much. The time being put into this can only assure professional-level quality, but because I'm human, I can't help but doubt a bit when I see their last major update was in December '07. Carousing the devblogs, I still see activity and a lot of , but still, no major milestones.

Considering the fact that all they have is a handful of levels, and some renders of weapon, character, and scenery geometry, they still have a long way to go, and at this pace, it's definitely going to be a while. I'd think that they're also going to be re-recording voices, they have to rewrite the game's scripted events, and then make sure that every little detail is where it should be.
