Text help?

Hi, this happens for Halo pc and ce. I play at 1280x 800 resolution, and when I press T or whatever to type, I don't see any text there. Obviously the text is below where my screen is, I think. Anyway, any way of fixing that? I can see the text on 1280x 768 res. What if I messed with the 768log and editbox ksml files?

Dunno if it matters, but video card is a geforce 8600gt.

Since I'm asking for help on stuff, I have another unrelated question. Active camo doesn't have the "water" effect. ANy way of fixing that?

I used to have that problem as well as a friend of mine. i can not recall how to fix it at this moment but i'm sure someone else knows how

This is an error with the card. older Nvidia cards do not support the shader effect for the active camo.

that's strange.... I have an X1300 Pro and I see the "water" on the cammo just fine...

Uh no. That doesn't work.

But you have a nice graphics card. I would try re-installing Halo Combat Evolved. Becuase I had this same problem and i re-installed Halo, it worked fine. Try that. And if you have already. I'm not sure what else but I can think up something else.
