carbines rock. your crazy. in halo 2 i can pwn anyone with a carbine... but zteams carbines really suck combat wise
The carbine was probably the best covenant weapon in H2, you just had to know how to use it. 5 headshots will take a brute down on normal, and it has a high rate of fire.
And I was the first one to point out misterchief's horribly spelled name. LOL
actually bungie's little character mistercheif is spelled wrong on purpose and thats obviously what he copied. DOH! also, the carbine could kill a brute in 2-3 if you have excellent aim

Carbine was a rip off of the human BR, biggest rip off of any covie weapon. Well, except maybe the beam rifle. It performs no different than the BR, has the dumbest clip design, and doesn't even follow the normal established rules
