What were the normal established rules? Covenant have [relatively] short ranged (but powerful) weapons that fire on automatic only and the humans can attack from a distance using a variety of weapons?

The carbine was probably the best covenant weapon in H2, you just had to know how to use it. 5 headshots will take a brute down on normal, and it has a high rate of fire.

And I was the first one to point out misterchief's horribly spelled name. LOL

Carbine was a rip off of the human BR, biggest rip off of any covie weapon. Well, except maybe the beam rifle. It performs no different than the BR, has the dumbest clip design, and doesn't even follow the normal established rules

If the carbine is in SPv2, you should make it battery-powered like every other covie energy weapon. I have no idea why Bungie gave it clips instead of battery.

Because it shoots radioactive bolts and not plasma or charged particles. it essentially uses the same ammunition as the Fuel Rod Cannon, on a much smaller scale.

Master chief's name is John 117. His co-workers call him Mr. 117.

It does state that MC's name is John in the books, but they never revealed any last names of any spartans. 117 was the spartan serial number that he was asigned to. UNSC isn't some communist party that asigns its personel with numbers as names.

MASTERZ! the carbine is BETTER than a BR because it shoots faster, and is more reliable at a long range. who says the covenant have to have short ranged weapons? not bungie thats for sure. thats my gun there, i PWN anyone with it... i bet you just hate it cus you have no idea what to do with it. hehehehehehe

the BR is > the carbine.

it kills in 4 clicks as opposed to 5, and has a 3 shot spray to make head shot's easier :awesome:
