Poor performance

Well, when I posted my specs (GeForce 8800 GTX, 2 Gb RAM, AMD 6000+) and asked if it'll run well, people thought I was joking.

Well.. maybe I wasn't..

When I tried to run Halo 2 vista, it popped up several errrors, saying that is assessed my video performance as a 1 and a 3 was required. What the fuck? I have the top video card right now. And the graphics are pretty god but not that great. I can run FEAR : Combat at over 120 frames per second but Halo 2 runs bad. Bullshit. My probklem is that the aiming/looking isn't very smooth..

If I remember correctly, InnerGoat said that it'll run so fast that the game won't be able to handle the high FPS, and aiming will turn to shit. Have you tried capping your FPS/forcing Vsync?

You do know you have to install graphic drivers, right? That's the only way Windows will give your video solution a one even if it's a higher end card.
