The SMG was the Hunter hunter. Personally one full load of it will take it down. And it doesn't matter if the butt is in the air or not. Come on the melee is perfect. It is more of a hammer strike than a backhand because he brings his hand up then down with great force and speed. So in reality that animations is down right sexy.
