Hey all I found my problem with the Halo2 sound! Unlike the original Halo, Halo2 does not like a SPDIF or digital interface for the sound output. As soon as I changed back to the anolog speaker connections the sound was OK! This sounds backwards considering Halo2 is newer but Its working now so the only outstanding problem is the Live login!
