How about singleshot, can you get that into everyones h2v easily?
Well, I can see why it would work just fine in a somewhat larger scale of players, but I guess they took into the thought of smaller players who are pretty serious about their game.
I mean, there's a lot to think about when thinking about the single shot, I was going over it today in my head and with my brother;
Could I possibly lock the player in zoom so damage doesn't un-zoom them? (Probably) My reasoning as to why they chose not to lock the zoom, is simply because who really wants to get the crap kicked out of them by some nearby noob who is using a PP (Which LlamaJuice pwns with I might add)
When adding a single shot in zoom while in a close quarter combat situation, what if the people spread out a bit and they need that extra accuracy to get the last shot off? Well typically, from firefights I go headlong into, I notice I try to cover my ass sometimes by taking as much cover as possible. Now that allows me some recovery time, but the other players start to just pursue, the further I get away, I notice they start to slow off on their approach sometimes and their aim get's much more accurate. With the single shot in this, it'd keep them on their toes, but at the same time, causing an unbalance unless their index finger is uber pwnage fast with an ol' analog trigger. My thoughts keep contradicting eachother, basically with single shot in a constantly changing fire fight single shot may be advantageous, but concerning yourself with the constant pull of the trigger (which with h2v they screwed up a bit), and zooming in will affect what happens, and how it's all executed.
I have plenty more questions I answer on a continual basis when I work with my stuff, or other peoples content. So when I work with something like this, I try to key in gameplay factors. With limited Human Resources, though, I can never get real results.
My most positive thoughts behind single shot are as follows;
The BR damage is quite astronomical, so with a zoomed high rate single shot fire, placed accurately, can be quite effective. When you unzoom and are in burst mode, and you are now susceptible to error, with a wider spread of bullets. With that wider spread of bullets, though, you are making up for the lost accuracy when not zoomed in with the single shot.
Single shot would deffinately give players a great advantage in big team games against snipers. I would have loved to see it in the game for this reason. (Bah, I just had a counter-thought to this one. lol)
Single shot just pwns.
In my opinion I will probably add it to my larger maps, but for smaller, close quarter/medium combat style maps, I will stick with the default weapon tag. Being that it's Microsoft's material, I would be in for some big spankin's if the single shot BR got popular on Live. But oh well, I'd rather see something that affects gameplay, H2 needs it sometimes.

I never noticed the M in his name. It was just something back on a talk about the clasped bridge, and how I thought the american public was ignorant of how the government runs things until something bad happens which would have been preventable if people would open their eyes (lets talk about it another time), he disagreed with me (which I find odd based on his character) and does something smart ass on everything I say now. Obviously with the entire community on his back (and a rep stick as long as a mile) I'll always loose so I generally don't try to start fights, but I still hate the guy.
Anyway, back to the mod. Anything that we can't do in this that we could do in the original HEK (when done) and vise versa?
Get it through your fucking thick skull, the reason why he disagreed was because you made that remark when you assumed rossmum and I were american. You came out with that, because you thought rossmum and I were kids, so we defended the people you WEREN'T EVEN TALKING TO because it's not fair on them. Heck, you're, what is it. 15? Your entire life revolves around machinima, don't tell me you think we don't have lives when all you care about is making films based on a video game.
