Auto desk export not working

hey so i try and export my map and it gets a message and closes

What is the message? How are you exporting it? What version of max/whatever are you using? What other info do you have that might help us figure out your info?

it says "An error has occurred and the application will now close. Do you want to attempt to save a copy of the current scene" and im ussing auto desk 3ds max 8 i might just need a new exporter maby somthing went wrong with mine but if you could give me a new link for a new jms exporter ill try that

I dunno, you could try bluestreak or chimp.
I was expecting it to be a no actors in scene or w/e error.
