Bad idea posting an image that was Cutout Filtered in Photoshop.
Sorry, but you may have fooled everyone else, but you can't fool me. At least I think it's cut out filter....sure looks like it to me.
*edit*
Yeah, I'm quite sure now, just after easily replicating his image. His source image though was much better quality and was a higher res obviously, so the contrasts and solid colours are more evident in his.
He did edit the teeth though. Those are the only parts that were obviously drawn. As most people should be able to see. Sure mine isn't exactly his, but take it from me, and I'm sure Con would tell you as well, that is indeed a cutout filter, and NOT his own painting as he so says.
Oh and he also edited the whites in the eyes like I did, to replicate his. You can see this because:
Notice the white parts in the eyes look like they were done with a soft brush (the standard default setting in photoshop) and the rest of him is hard tones.

Messin' with reactor.
That was 15 minutes modeling (I had to redo the pins), 10 minutes setting up the physics junk, and about 8 hours to render 300 clay-rendered frames.

Oh I see. I thought you MIGHT have done that but most people go with the quicker option.
sorry for that minus rep :X
No problem. Its only - 3 points. Instead of waiting for 45 points for the third bar, i have to wait 48. It isn't that bad.

Looks great; heres a tip: Use normal rendering for a complex animation to cut 8 hours into possibly 10-15 minutes, THEN do it in clay render if you want it to look like it, because if you just start off with animation clay rendering, and then notice that you fucked up in the finished video, you will have to do it again. (learned it the hard way :x)
In this case, it turned out fine, but when working on more difficult projects, it would be safer to start off with a normal render.
But thats just me :P
