I already made an m98 mauser. But that doesn't really fit into a modern weapons mod....

Actually, most of Germany's remaining weapons (including rare StG44s and FG42s) 'somehow' made their way down to Syria and through the middle east. A lot of the US troops fighting insurgents in Iraq are coming across mint-condition StGs as well as AKs and RPGs. The Mausers are favourites as far as sniper rifles go, for obvious reasons.

Nah, I just love the m98, still the most reliable bolt action you will ever get, even after 40 + years. And sure, after I finish Advent i'll give UVWing a break for about a week and model the m98 =)
