Personally though, I would have made that red layer then the black one and colour it in like how you did, but then I'd just apply a gradient to it from the left to right.

I thought it was french, so I google translated it. It couldn't translate "pipe", so this is what it said: "this is not a pipe". I have no idea what it means without having that last word translated. Even if it was actually "pipe", I still have no idea.
