It's probably cause of all the crazy shadows going everywhere, at least that's what it looks like. Try only having shadows on one of your light WOL. Also, looks amazingly hot. Only thing is, why are some parts really high poly and others not?
Jesus Christ, that gun is amazing. How did you do that bump effect on the grip?
I have 3 color lights all casting shadow, and a spotlight thats blasting pure white. In previous renders they looked odd because the shadows cast were standard Shadow and not mental ray .
I made a highres mesh of a sphere cut in half and flattened that i Arrayed, laid a plane under it, rendered to texture at 512 to get a normal map with bumps, and then i box uved the grip/buttstock and applied the bump.

almost done here. just gotta fix up odd edges, then ima start unwrapping the lowres cage. When im done with that ill start tweaking with things if they arent looking right. I'm going to unwrap these things separately for their own bitmaps, for a special reason:
- barrel
- scope
- stock
