Yessir, this weapon is 90% my own design. The first draft (four versions ago) looked like this

and was modeled from a concept done by Scooby.

theres nothing wrong with the rail. If you're talking about the missing polies on the bottom, remember that this isnt a viewmodel but a highres mesh. i just deleted it because i knew i wasnt going to add detail there.

Also, im probably gonna delete it on the lowres FP as well, because there will be no chances whatsoever that you'll be able to see those polies in FP.

Ah, missing polies. That explains the look of it from the top down.

I think he means that your rail is completely wrong. In fact, that rail there isn't going to do too good of a job of holding your stuff on :x.

Gaying around, obviously not up to spec with any real rims or anything. First two I made up, though are probably similiar to some other rims out there, last one I sort of used a referance from ones I've seen like it. Even though this stuff is pretty simple, it's damned fun to do.

because i'm sure hundreds of years from now a picatinny rail is going to be the way to go i'm sure we'll never think of another way to mount attachments because picatinny is the definative end all solution! magnetic attachment rail mb?
