    Re: Privatization of War

Why do people wage large-scale destruction/massacre, why do people in power feel the need to be an asshole and kill people for oil, money, or other supplies? people could AVOID death and AVOID the cost of war, both in life and monetary, if they just would be smart and freaking switch to better types of energy like solar power. I wish i could just take control of one of the oil lords or something like a puppet and force them to spend the money they have on bringing out the truth and developing other forms of energy. Jeez, all they want are material things (or things to satisfy their personal gods misinterpreted 'demands')...and they sacrifice life for it. They just disgust me...

Man, if theres one thing that always strikes a chord in me, its war and what it does to people...just tonight, one of my sisters best friends (and in turn, a somewhat good friend of mine) has her husband in iraq--and tonight is their anniversary. She was having a good time and trying to push it away, i didnt even know about the situation, and then she starts crying vehemously...she loves that guy so much, she would probably stop smiling if her husband came back in a box...

I hate war, yet i love guns and FPS's. I'm screwed in the head.

I'll admit it publicly. I hate the United States Government. I support the troops and the people and the cities and companies in the US, but something has got to be done about this government. Unfortunately, everyone (myself included) is too much in the middle of something important like college or a job to risk it by overthrowing this government.

You hear that, CIA webcrawlers? I think the US government severely needs to be overthrown and replaced with something that actually works the way it's supposed to.

Edit: Also, if you'll remember my don't join the military EVAR thread, my best friend is in basic training right now, and if the war isn't over in 6 months he's gonna be right there in the middle of it. Fuck, he might get shipped out to Iran. There is no =( big enough.
