Obviously the suit doesn't assist with her agility, save for the Speed Booster powerup, as Samus has the same core maneuverability out of it as she does in it.

I'm just saying that she doesn't possess the same brute strength as a SPARTAN-II, Covenant Elite, or, well, a Brute. While she's certainly strongER than a normal human being, I doubt she can put on enough hurt to an armored target with just her bare hands.

In case my post got deleted after the hack, I recall from the Metroid Prime manual that the suit is a powered, strength-augmenting exoskeleton built for her by the Chozo.

lol i keep getting exeption on chozo and tallon vi. and the few minutes i got to play on frosthaven before i exeptiond out, it was rather buggy. the biped was still a mc altough it had the fp armcannon and that strange ball that acts like a vehicle was only able to move sidewards. at first i thought disabling the yelo battery would help but it didnt.
any suggestions?

Even so, has it really been useful for something besides starting the shinespark?

Uhm, in Metroid 2 it was useful for shooting some of the small enemies, and in Super Metroid it was useful in that oen part right after you got the morph ball.

the maps are now on halomaps for those who've had trouble accessing the offical site (such as zilla)

also, is anybody hosting this on a dedi? HIV had it but it's gone now (shame :<)

and instead of crouch, why not a long jump/double jump?
