Thread: Gallery Topic (post your favorite work, or WIP's)

cracks aside, i still say the underside of the awning is too flat. it needs some horizontal i-beams supporting it or something. Also, the 45 degree slop that the crack is in still seems very much more forerunner than human to me.

edit: @fr: wow dude chill out. Man, what is it about the internet that makes everybody take everything the wrong way?

Who bets my rep (not the bars) will go in a ditch again by the end of today?

[ot]keep making posts like that in the gallery thread and it will[/ot]

@Mass: It occurred to me that it needs lights and security cameras and speakers and other random things placed on the walls, but those are best done with scenery. Hmm, you should play through the second level of Halo 3, I forget what it's called. Use that as inspiration.

Hey guys, guess what? instead of yelling at eachother like pansies, you could have read the rules and then taken correct action (but, warning is all we can do)

Lets look at the rulebook, eh? heres a link for the lazies--http://www.h2vista.net/forums/announcement.php?f=2

Now, in all actuality--massacres model isn't god awful but it isn't the best and he knows it, because its a ONLY A MODEL STUDY. he wants crit, and what tweek (and kenney, even) have done are what massacre asked for. So, next time, remember why we have a warning system instead of just yelling at the person :v

I actually quite like the supporting beams on the outside and the little walkway you have in there. The crack looks like a slash more than some sort of explosives damage. Try to rework that a little bit. The bunker you have on the left is a bit plain looking, but I like the styling of the rest.

Can you put skylights at an angle?

    no, you angle the camera.

it's not a directed light at all, it's global illumination.
and then some camera angle shit.

i dunno why it works the way it does, i just know how it works.
just adding an omni, or spot will make a huge difference though

If that's for Halo, the battle damage is really unnecessary, there's no battle damage in any Halo multiplayer map except chillout
