I can't stand when cable providers (Comcast, Optimum/Time Warner) advertise "FIBER OPTICS RIGHT TO YOUR HOME" when the connection is actually a COPPER LINE with no light whatsoever other than for their network's backbone. It absolutely DISGUSTS me how Verizon begins advertising their FiOS service, then Comcast jumps in to try and keep its customers by making sad attempts at LYING to its customers who don't know any better by saying they get fiber optic service. I did notice recently Optimum changed their advertising to say "our fiber optic network" instead of saying it comes into your house as a fiber line, but I'm not sure if Comcast has changed it yet (haven't seen any commercials). Assholes.
