dude anyone who needs a TUTORIAL on smoothing doesnt deserve to use any sort of 3d application.

    1 smoothes to 1, 2 smoothes to 2, 1 doesn't smooth to 2.

i can't imagine anyone needing a tutorial when you know that!

well considering people still have trouble with it, I imagine they do.

and what happens when you smooth to 1 and 2? you of all people should know that a lot of the community suck with smoothing, and that a simple tutorial can work wonders for even seeminly simple things (eg, mass's cliff tut). why not?

TBH I didn't understand smoothing until it was explained in a tutorial. I thought those little numbered boxes were like "levels of smooth" rather than (as their name implies...) smoothing GROUPS

    Things to fix:
    -smoothing errors
-There are parts that look like it was a separate model, makes it look kinda ugly.
-Would like to see a wireframe shot.

Here's the wire frame. I've brought the front part out a bit (pictures come with more updates). I need to make all the separate parts connect (how should I go about doing this?). I've worked on the smoothing errors in this one, not that you can see them. :P

By the way, Omega, Nice avatar, made me LoL when I first saw it.

So much poly wastage. =\ You need to allocate your detailing to the places where it needs to be. God damn, those extrusions have way too many polys (in the back) WASTER!

You're one to speak, havoc. I say it looks good, just needs some refinement. I'm waiting to see your updated version in a clay render.

If you can't model then how can you say it looks nice. You wouldn't know what a nice model looks like?? Please think about what you said.
