    Warningshot3, max 8's snap problems were fixed in a service pack.

    max 2008, but for ce and h2v I usually use 7 if I might have modeled something in 2008

    Everything Max 8. Tried using max 9, but preffered Max 8 because I had easier access to reactors and some other functions.

    i use max 9. but when you flip the box, all the faces turn black which really anoyines me. I wonder if you can do your own gun modeling for h2v like halo ce, that would be very fun to do. Sadly im an amuetur mapper.

    cheezdue that black thing is backface cull, goto preferences, viewports and tick backface cull on object creation.

    i'd like to say 8, but had to upgrade, because all character rigs etc for my mod were build in max9

    also i hate the fact max9 lost the polygoncounter utility

    max 2008 sucks, because they raped the uv editor
