Music [COMPLETE] Just some (studio) blues...

So now that we have this rocking "studio" section, I thought it'd be appropriate to post some music.

Last year, four of us created a blues group, the Brian Vranicar Blues Band. He was the singer and the only senior, so we laughed and decided on that. We did some covers and tons of original pieces because we all had our roots in jazz music. So I got a call last year from a guy who heard us at the Goofy Foot (a bar) the past week. He wanted us to bring all of our gear and record in his own, private studio. That's exactly what we did. Anyway, we never had an "official" release or anything, so I thought the Internet might enjoy it. I know many of you enjoy death metal and punk rock. If you came in here for that, get the fuck out and never come back. Thanks. And if you need to know, I play bass in all songs and play guitar in "For the Love." Hope you enjoy!

I like the first one, I mean I would say that these songs are wrote on feelings about someone. They are great I mean I'm not in to this type of music exactly but I like it because the lyrical works of it are great they would match with times in my life.
Great man keep it up along with the rest of your band loving the electric guitar solo in the first song btw.

Thanks man! The main guitarist really had a voice and a knack for some rockin' solos.

I like it, but the rest of the world won't. It just doesn't pop out as something that every radio station will be clamouring(sp?) to play. Still though, you can probably expect about 1/2 as much fame as say, Michael Buble or someone if you really keep at it. Keep up the stuff.

Pretty sweet, I like the "pan" in the guitar in "For the Love"

Thanks for sharing these great tunes with us dg. I enjoyed every second of these tunes and will for days to come. I may share this with more people who aren't on these forums if that is alright with you. Again great music, and you guys do know how to play. [It is late where I am or else I would post a longer post, but I pretty much summed it up with that].

    Kudos to you guys!

That's the problem the band in my signature is having in Waco, the lead singer is sending demos to huston, dallas etc to get some attention from people who are actually willing to take chances in what they play...

dg, its brilliant. Ive been waiting for somebody to do some music like this. The guitar in Go As You Please reminds me of a quasi John Fusciante/bluesy style, and the organ reminds me of boston. Skimming through the other stuff, im really digging it. It's going into my song rotation, i think i'll play this at my art class tomorrow.

Hey, thank you all very much! I'm really glad you all enjoy this stuff!

Smack: Believe me, we're not looking to be "pop out" into the music scene too much. We play shows every week and are being hired this summer in part of a Summer Concert Series. The local music scene in Omaha is actually pretty neat, especially with some of the venues we play at. All in all we're in it for the fun, but making money is just a nice little bonus!

Kalub: I'm so glad you described it like a "pan" sound! I was messing around with out amp and when the guitarist brought his Blues Driver pedal, it sounded pretty crisp and clear.

Musicman: Share it with whoever you want! We put the songs out there for the world to enjoy, so feel free to do whatever!

Wave: Let me know how your class likes it! We really like getting critiqued because that's the only way we can get better!

Again, thanks everyone and please download the .mp3 package. The quality is much better and you will not be disappointed.
