It won't happen.

Why?

H2V is having a server browser.

H2X has matchmaking.

It won't work practically.

They could change that with a downloadable update for xbox live. They won't though, as they have already said they won't have cross platform play.

Ya, if you play their Podcast you'll learn way they wont do Cross platform play, and it is something that is good to not have happen.

Yup. There is no way for bungie to release an update to give H2X a server browser so it could not happen.

Ya, I've never used Match making, but I like how Halo CE and PC is set up now.
