What do you guys use to open the dlls?

I'm using ResHacker but when I save the file, when I load halo it doesnt change any thing.

Also, my strings had

"144, "http://www.bungie.net/halopc-motd.txt""

in it which gives me the "manual update required, I tried editing it but no luck..

lol, agreed, lets edit a few things like

145, "Autobalance: Team Change Request Denied"

to

145, "**SERVER**: Sorry, the teams are even, you can not change teams"

that would be much better.

Put something like, "Oh, what, too good for this team? Huh? F*** you. You're staying. B****."

When you change the strings.dll, afterwards when you right click, properties does it say todays date as modifed date? because mine doesnt, yet when you open up it shows the changes i made :O
