    How to add sprays.

If you want to make a .vmt image file, just get your image and open it up with VMTEdit and then save it as a .vmt file.

Wow I never heard that way to do it. This is what I do, I take whatever the picture is, it can be in .jpg form (I use that because that's my favorite). Now the dimensions at most can be 256 by 256 pixels. Now in TF2, go to options at the main menu, go to the tab Multiplayer, browse for your picture, and upload it. Join a server and that's it, I'll get a screenshot in a second.

Step 1: Go to options from main menu, then go to the Multiplayer tab
    [

Step 2: Click import spray and find your spray (make sure you have the vmt and vtf file in the same directory)

Step 3: After you got it imported, make sure you also set a key to post the spray. For me, I had no default key for it, I had to set one.

And that's it I think. If you update your spray ingame, you have to join another server (or rejoin) for it to change. I get most of my sprays from http://gamesprays.com. Also I never knew you had to create a folder and put the files in there. I just put them in my pictures and it works for me :\ Hope this works, but I don't know why most people use the vmt and vtf files when you can just get a regular picture file. If you're downloading them from a site (like gamesprays) they give you a preview of the spray and I just right click and save the pic instead of actually downloading it in it's vtf/vmt form and save it as a .jpg. As long as the dimensions fit, it should still work.

my sprays are not in there own folders like you have it, but they are in a "logos" folder in the vgui folder.
