halo 2 xp lag

I have

geforce 7950gt
intel dual core e6600
250gb
2gb800mhz memory

i did the can you run it test and i everything was over recommedned but not the xp. whta do i have to do that this lag goes away? it is already in the menu and in the game.

The game is unsupported on XP therefor I can't really say what's wrong, and thus can't really help you. If you want to use it, use it on vista.

Don't worry, I think I know whats up. I had vista and a Nvidia 9600 graphics card and the same problems, so I'm pretty sure yours may get fixed with this one simple tag in the shortcut command line.
