Basic textures done. I'll finish later in the week when I've freed up some homework.
Also, Polygon Cruncher for 3dsMax OWNS. I reduced the biped and the egg low poly models to around about 4000 and 500 triangles respectively, without affecting the uv coordinates or the silhouette of the models hardly at all.

it needs to be extremely squishy and quivery and blobby. If you can rig and animate it like the exploding infection form pod scenery things from Halo 3, that would be awesome.
Hm, on that note, maybe it should be slightly translucent, with only a hint of some vaguely disturbing shape moving around inside it.
If i imagine it feeling/acting like a mix between a balloon filled with water and one of those 'squishy' flood things on the wall from halo 3 i can see it been very much like a flood 'object'.
Also just wanted to say i really like the flood form that 'flies' that looks really good.
