    I wouldn't have boxes around the grenades. Instead, have a grenade icon and a number next to them (faded when zero).

    Grenade counter is the result of my being zoomed in too much and not being about to scale the diagonal lines with the rest; it'll look more like the one the first concept but with thinner lines
    visor isnt going to be in, it was already discussed

    It's possible to do the visor right pretty easily. If you guys have a vision fo rhte HUD, go for it. Don't let everyone crit opinions change what you want to do.

    Uh yeah; I tried out what Con suggested, but I don't really like it. Wondering on your opinions. I don't like the ammo bar either... We may just go to the normal bullet display.

    Why not take a screenshot from Halo 3 and trace the HUD in a new layer(s).

    Well technically that's not ripping...

    But isn't the HUD in Halo 3 curved a little giving it a somewhat 3D effect, but in Halo CE everything is 2D?

    visor looks much better. I think it would look a lot better if the lower half was brought down a bit, or maybe even cut out of the picture altogether since i doubt that you would really see it looking through the actual helmet. much better nonetheless
