DANE: My surge protectors are annoying as hell every time the power has a brown out "Not all the way out, just lower in voltage" They literally trigger all of the fire alarms in the house, and make the garage door open and close to try and get our attention. Lets just say my mom doesn't like it when that happens. (almost every single day). She "marches her self down there and terns em off".

Damn, well if they were password protected, ShadowSpartan would be willing to look into pw protection for you. However, since they aren't password protected, the type of unprotection your looking for is impossible. I'd say use your current unprotector, extract the tags, and reorganize them yourself, thats the only way out im afraid.

EDIT: I won't be going any more indepth as to why the protection you seek is impossible in this thread. If you'd like an explanation take it to pm's.

This is sad news. Hope it gets recovered some how. Btw, have you tried replacing your surge protectors with ones that don't cause that to happen?

Well there would be no point really no where there? The data is already gone.

I'm just saying so it doesn't happen AGAIN. It's also a pretty big hamper on other stuff as well. Can't having a computer turn off at random while running apps be very bad for it?

there is no way to disable surge protectors...

I have sent the hard drive into a recovery center where apparently they can retrieve data with some sort of laser type machine. I have no idea how much it will cost to get my hard drive back, or if they will even find something.
They will get as much data off as you're willing to pay for. How much is the map worth to you?

    Also, laser?

For the pb1 and pb2 maps no. For internal builds they are either not protected, or are protected using a password.

As for getting fully working tags out of future zteam maps, it won't happen. I got a few tricks up my sleeve .
