Dear god, I must have repressed that. Come to think of it, h3 was full of really bad lines... Though for Johnson, it's always been intentional. (At least, when it was humorous and not >.< bad.)

The opening Crow's Nest cinematic sure takes a turn for the weird at that point .

I've never really thought of elites sounding like that.

I like the music. It's a different turn for traditional Halo, but it isn't all about the forerunners this time. It's similar enough, but I think it fits well with the new setting.
