Patch 1.08 causes AIDs?

With lots of people i know, the 1.08 haloce patch causes invalid keys.

I searched around forum but i couldnt find a thread about it.

So is there any good solution for it?

Maybe for the people who don't have a legit copy of halo. I don't have this problem and it is the first I have heard of this...

Were they using the 1.00ce NOCD crack before? Because if they were, I'm guessing they didn't have valid CD keys in the first place.

1.08 sucks anyway, no Yelo Battery or Third Person support.

Get 1.07 and the Version Changer app.

I don't see why anyone would pirate it anyway. Not sure if they still have copies anywhere, but last I saw it was around $5. Even when I bought my copy, it had only cost me $20 (I think this was back in 04).

As to your problem... or well, the other person's problem, I've never had this error occur to me. My guess would be like everyone else's, that they never owned a legit copy in the first place.
