He probably means 8600GTS. The 8600GTS is considerably more powerful then the 8600GT. It also depends on the vendor of your card.

If it's not out this year then it won't be out. I and all of the other members are tired of doing this mod (about 2.5 years now?) and really want to be done soon. I've already set a date beyond which I just won't work anymore unless it's extrmely near to completion.
