flood brutes add authenticity to the mod, pretty wierd that there are healthy brutes but not flood brutes when they get shat over in a flood level.

makes it more believable of a universe and clears up a possible question in the gamers mind "Why are there no flood brutes when I just saw 5 get raped by some infection flood ?, hmm wtf must be a dev error"

leave them in, look pretty anyways.

Or you could just use your imagination and we could actually have the mod released before Halo 4.

Ever seen a floodified hunter in any of the halo series?

Its impossible for them to get infected because they are made of a series of eel like creatures. Thats why you dont "Ever seen a floodified hunter in any of the halo series"

You couldn't just sow them around the place as bodies?

Perhaps the flood aren't really compatible with brutes. They can infect them but the host won't last for more than a minute or two.

    Re: Pardon Our Dust.

Heres a thought, if you want to use brute flood you could make them carriers, since all combat forms eventually become carriers anyways. It would need its own model/anims/textures, but could use mostly the same stuff you posted. The model would need to be expanded, maybe make the head flopping off on the side, but it would be interesting to fight.

in some levels they could replace the original carriers, and it might add a twist to gameplay to make them faster than normal carriers or something. Just speculation of course.

    • 2. Coordinated stage is when the Flood become truly dangerous; they now take orders from the Gravemind that was created in the first stage. (Seen in Halo 2)

    • 4. Intergalactic stage[14] the last known stage the Flood enters, theoretically, in which it utilizes all captured technology to depart to uninfected galaxies to further replicate. It is assumed that the Flood that had arrived in the Milky Way had descended from Intergalactic level Flood. (Seen in the Forerunner-Flood War).
You could play it off by saying, they weren't evolved enough to take over the brutes bodies yet.
