Quite true, but when it comes to posting, that's a bit of a shaky ground, because anything can be said on the internet. I think you'd have to post, pretty much step by step how you did it for an authority to take notice.
That said, authorities seem to be more concerned with the uploaders anyway, rather than the people who download the stuff.
